Nokia N900 Reviewed!

We like:

Fresh operating system shows lots of potential; huge internal memory; bright, crisp screen; usable keyboard; good VoIP and IM features;excellentcamera; swift and smooth user interface; accurate Web browser with Flash support; 3.5mm headphone jack means you can use your own cans; expandable memory; fast Wifi and 3G connectivity

We don't like:

limited apps available; no potential for one-handed operation; resistive touchscreen; limited portrait mode; a little chubby; behaves more like an Internet tablet than a phone; needs a bit of setting up to get the best out of it!

Verdict:

This Nokia doesn't want to be your first smart phone (it almost doesn't feel like a mobile at all) -- instead, it's a mini PC trying to break new ground with the Maemo O/S. Despite heaps of Fantastic features already, its best apps are yet to come, so it's most suited to those seeking a powerful and customisable gadget, rather than just a great phone.
